Was this only a planning issue or a tad of shade? Shani Davis, 35, wasn’t with the rest
of Group USA when they entered the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium for the Opening
Function on Feb. 9.
The speed skater was missing, and considering what he said in regards to who got the opportunity to be the
nation’s banner conveyor, the planning has raised a couple of eyebrows.
As indicated by a U.S. speedskating representative, be that as it may, Davis just anticipated
walking in the parade on the off chance that he was picked for the position.
“Shani won’t walk in the parade. It was never part of his designs. He is completely centered around
his first race and is focusing on that,” the representative said.
Hamlin and Davis were the two finalists for the banner carrier position (among eight
chosen people). Colleagues from each of the eight Group U.S.A. sports appointments —
coaster and skeleton, ski and snowboarding, figure skating, twisting, biathlon, hockey,
speedskating, and luge — voted to choose. The vote was divided into equal parts, so the
choice was made with a coin hurl.
After the misfortune, to a white female competitor, Davis had a hissy tantrum, guaranteed the coin hurl
was Supremacist and boycotted the opening function.
Davis tweeted about the circumstance very quickly:
“I am an American and when I won the 1000m of every 2010 I turned into the principal American to
2-peat in that occasion,” he composed. “@TeamUSA disgracefully flipped a coin to choose its
2018 banner carrier. Don’t sweat it. I can hold up until 2022. #BlackHistoryMonth2018”
Who the damnation he think he is?
Maybe he thinks that he is bigger than our Olympic team!
This is the reason why many people will not like this man he goes and attack our
country and put hashtag about black people when this has nothing to do with a racist
attack or about the color of his skin!
His actions are no better than the anti-America NFL players who disrespect our
nation, military, and police when they kneel during the anthem.
There’s a petition circulating, which states Davis does not embody the “spirit of
America” and should be removed from the Olympic team.
